This post is titled Oh yeah... by author SoulJah. I forgot one more thing... I was opening some sites this morning and left it running with the monitor down... But it was slow as m0fucken hell so I just decided to reset the damn thing and went to sleep... Left it running until this morning and what did I see on my monitor at the boot up screen?

If you were me, what would you have done? Freak out? Yes, I considered that after I got that chilly feeling (like when I fucked up my old and ancient digicam, and when I screwed up my aunt's PC with one reset too many) and run around the house until I bump into something and wake up from it knowing it was only a bad dream... But it ain't...

Using investigative skillz0rs, I used a SuSE live eval CD and I got into the OS without a hitch so I figured that it wasn't a major hardware meltdown, so I guessed it was just the MBR finally fucked up somewhere... Whipped out my penis... I mean, PartitionMagic boot diskettes and pondered my options... Kill the whole MBR and taking the NTFS partition with it (with 4.5GB worth of media on it) or take the plunge and make a new partition and put Slackware on again and hope it overwrites the MBR with a new LILO so I would be able to get back into XP again. I chose the latter, and after a couple of sweaty minutes, I got back into XP again. A loud "huzzah!" emanated out from my room. Then I was off to get a bargain for my brother hunting for a Samsung Camera phone... Don't worry my precious 3330... I won't replace you anytime soon... Turns out my bargaining skillz0r I got from The Australian PC Magazine worked... Just tell em, "We can just come back later and get a damn discount, or give us a decent discount now and we'll plunk down this [put amount of money here] right here, right now!"

Yeah, that worked great. I wished it would've gone down a fair bit more though... $805 down to $790 wasn't that much of a drop... But considering it costs a whopping $858 at Incomm in Gadong, I guess we had ourselves a pretty good deal. Heh, I thought Incomm would've given us a lower price... Typical DST...
