This post is titled by author SoulJah. Well... There's no one in yet except me. Came in at 7.45 am and no one has come in for work. There were a few people who returned notebooks but that was it. Hmmm... I think they have that roadshow thing going on in Temburong. But still, my supervisor shouldn't be involved in that. Anyway just a little tidbit of an impending workplace friction I wanna share. My section has another higher level supervisor. Coincidentally enough, his name is Hanafi. But he's not as clueless as our dear friend. Oh no. He's some kind of tough but lazy dude. Well that's what I heard from other people. Well hopefully I won't be in his way during my work here.

This post is titled by author SoulJah. I can't believe this... I'm actually updating my website from DSTCom Headquarters. Why? I got accepted for the job attachment at DST!!! They actually called me yesterday and told me to immediately work today. It was a bit nerve wrecking last night, not being able to sleep and all that. I came in to report in for duty, expecting a gauntlet to be thrown down, and I have to survive til the end, but it was actually quite OK really. Everyone's really nice here, including my female supervisor, Mimit is what I believe she's called. Heh... She's really cool... I can't say this on the Net, but to the people who know who or how I am will know I can't live without this thing, and she practically said it was OK to do that. Woohoo! The pay is quite good considering I'm only gonna be here for three months, $20 per day, which works out to roughly $450 a month. Woohoo! I think I'll get an extension to work here.

This post is titled by author SoulJah. I was actually called for the interview at DST yesterday, and fortunately I was not that nervous in the interview room. There were 7 of us, me and Ash, some other A Leveler and 4 other uni grads... And that really made me a wee bit nervous. Speaking of A Levels, I got a B for Computer Studies, even though I got a C for my project component. a D for Maths and a D for Physics. It was good, but not good enough for UBD methinks. So the plan would be going to ITB with my other buds afterall. Back to the interview, I think I have a good chance because they asked to photocopy me letters that I got for winning the three gold medals for the Aussie competition. BUt the last question they asked was "What do you know about DST?" Heh.... I bullshitted something about SMS and ASTRO, and them being a really good company, which in all essence, is true. But the fly in the ointment was that the interviewer laughed and mumbled something about DST kana complain or something. I admit I sent a non threatening letter to DST using my e mail (which I put down in the form... DAMN!) but I managed to get out of that by saying that even though I see complaints in Borneo Bulletin, I still think they're a really good company... Which I think sealed the deal... Woohoo!!!
