This post is titled Google Local Mobile by author SoulJah. The coolest thing to come out of Google(tm) since Google(tm) Maps/Google(tm) Local. This is pretty much the next evolution in the brand, it's almost a no brainer.

Try and see if your phone is supported. Thank goodness this 6230 of mine is universally supported. I'm just flying about, checking out places. Quite fun actually.

All hail our Google(tm) overlords.

This post is titled So ok we were visiting places for raya right... by author SoulJah. Then after we were done, we had a drink at Hua Ho Manggis, to wind down after a long day. My friend got the teh tarik and I went to get some cakois (Cha Kuey? Chakui? Ya know... those things...) when all of a suddent, the owner of Hua Ho barges in and sits... directly next to our table. So I sat down, and ya know act accordingly and like... Then after they finished their stuff (drinking teh tarik and eating cakois as well) he leaned over to me and pulled out something from his jacket.

I swear to god I thought he was giving me a hundred.

Then after I repeatedly saying "Huh?", I got over my shell shocked state and finally deciphered him saying "Minum! Minum!" telling us to get more drinks if we want to. So I looked down and saw it wasn't a hundred after all. It was a $10 gift voucher.

I swear to god I thought it was a hundred. It looked like it.

So, giddily enough, I proceeded to take a picture with it.

This post is titled Selamat Hari Raya! by author SoulJah. Although I am a bit peeved that we get to celebrate it a day later than almost everyone on this globe. Man... Why the hell do we have the need for viewing the moon with telescopes man. Get with the times. Computer models. Laser sights. Mathematical equations. The works. It's the 21st century for cryin' out loud.

This post is titled I give up man... Nokia N71, N80 and N92 by author SoulJah. (Why would they do this to me so?)

Hot on the heels of the last NSeries releases, November 2nd saw the Finnish giant telephone maker continue to release new products touting the multimedia aspects as the main key feature, and bringing convergence into mobile phones in a really big way.

The N71 is a clamshell sporting a 2 megapixel main camera and another for video calls. Music playback for for major popular formats on it's 10 MB memory expandable via MiniSD (TransFlash) slot. Bluetooth and USB2.0 makes those transfers a breeze. Think, Nokia 6170 NSeries interpretation.

The N80 is a slider with 3 megapixel main camera, all stored on 40MB memory expandable via miniSD (TransFlash). USB2.0, Bluetooth and WiFi. Quadband and 3G, makes the prospect of me swaying away from Nokia 6280 all the more feasible. Best of the bunch IMHO. Might switch from 6280 to this...

The N92 is a double swivel phone. And think of it as N91 + Samsung D307 + a TV, as it supports DVB-h, Digital Video Broadcasting - Handhelds. For your consideration, other phones with the same technology has been thick fat beasts compared to this thing. 2 Megapixel camera (No word on the lens though), 802.11g Wifi, Bluetooth, USB2.0, 90MB + MiniSD slot.

Both the N71 and N92 have external displays, because for the N80 to have one... is just silly. Prices at 400, 500, and 600 Euro for N71, N80 and N92 respectively. Released Q1 2006. Hmm... Looks like I'm getting the N80 for sure.

This post is titled Nigella Lawson is mesmerizing. by author SoulJah. Yep.

That's right.

Have you ever sat down in front of a TV, flip to a cooking show channel, then get stuck, like you can't even bring yourself to press the button to switch to another channel? Have you ever thought that cooking looks so breath taking? Have you ever thought that someone licking a wooden spoon would look so beautiful? Have your brain ever been tossed around in an orgasmic audible heaven just by listening to a voice?

Nigella Lawson does that to you.
